Royal Sister Charity Care Foundation (RSCCF) embarked on a meaningful journey to Maradun, Emirate situated in Zamfara State. On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the Foundation ventured into the heart of Maradun Kingdom, driven by its commitment to philanthropic endeavors. Established and sustained through the unwavering support of the National Mother of Orphans, Hajiya Rukayya Shehu Danfulani, RSCCF assumed responsibility for the primary and secondary education of 27 orphan children (comprising 19 boys and 7 girls). These children were enrolled in five different private schools within the Maradun LGA. Accompanied by representatives from the foundation, the mothers of the children, and school officials, the children were warmly received at the palace of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Maradun. Here, they were graciously presented to receive the monarch's blessings.
Speaking on the purpose of this impactful visit, Alhaji Muhammad Habib Alhassan, representing the Chairman, Dr. Aliyu Sani Jangebe, highlighted that RSCCF had already covered the entrance fees for each orphan in their respective schools, ensuring their access to education until they complete their primary schooling. He further mentioned that the Foundation extended its support by providing school attire, footwear for the journey to school, educational materials such as books, writing tools including notebooks, study guides, pens, pencils, and school uniforms for each child. Addressing the gathering, Hajiya Rukayya Shehu Danfulani, the visionary behind the Foundation's inception and its ongoing support, emphasized the sustainability of this endeavor under her watchful guidance, attributing its success to the grace of God. She also affirmed her commitment to contribute towards relief efforts during every Hajj pilgrimage, aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by orphans and other marginalized individuals.
In his welcoming address to the Foundation's leaders, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Garba Muhammad Tambari Maradun, the Emire of Maradun, expressed his profound joy at the charitable initiatives spearheaded by RSCCF within his kingdom. He bestowed blessings upon the orphans and offered guidance and encouragement to the Foundation. Concluding his remarks, His Highness urged other charitable organizations to emulate the exemplary work of RSCCF.
During the expression of gratitude, Malam Muhammad Auwal, representing the leaders of private schools in Maradun Local Government Area, expressed his elation at these developments. He extended heartfelt thanks to the parents of the orphans and the community of Maradun, pledging to oversee the situation to ensure its success with the grace of God.
In the services conducted by RSCCF in Maradun, Royal Sister provided financial assistance to three women to support their careers and self-reliance endeavors. Additionally, she donated 300 pairs of shoes and slippers to students attending Sheikh Faruk Liman Islamiyya School. Furthermore, the foundation extended financial support to the school's head teacher to alleviate the challenges of meeting daily needs.
