In its ongoing endeavor to alleviate economic hardships faced by orphans, RSCCF continued its Ramadan package distribution on day 2, Sunday, March 10th, 2024. This phase saw the distribution of 40 mini bags of assorted grains (maize, guinea corn, & millet), along with 48 textile materials (Atamfa/Ankara) and accompanying cash for processing items suitable for consumption/use. These vital provisions were distributed across various districts including Damba, Mareri, Gadan Abu Magaji, and Unguwar Gwaza in Gusau LGA. Additionally, Hajiya Rukayya Shehu Danfulani (National Ummul Aytam-Mother of Orphans), the foundation's founder and benefactor, directed the dispatch of 12 bags of assorted grains and 23 textile materials to Maradun LGA. These items were earmarked for widows and 23 orphans who were granted scholarships in early February 2024, aimed at easing their burdens during the holy month of Ramadan. Throughout the entirety of the 2024 Ramadan package exercise (Day 1 & 2), RSCCF distributed a total of 84 bags of assorted grains, along with 112 textile materials (Atamfa/Ankara) and N774,000 only to orphans across 9 districts in Gusau LGA and Maradun town. On behalf of Hajiya Rukayya Shehu Danfulani National Ummul Aytam (Mother of Orphans) and the entire RSCCF team, we extend heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God and express overwhelming delight for the success of this initiative. To the orphans and District Heads, we convey our sincerest thanks, without whom these achievements would have remained out of reach. As we reflect on this act of kindness, we earnestly pray for Allah's continuous blessings upon her wealth and for RSCCF to ascend to even greater heights in its noble mission.
